Scheduling

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45am – 5:00pm.

Call (517) 351-0800 with questions or to schedule an appointment.

Your general dentist has recommended a referral to our office, and may have even scheduled the appointment for you. If a consultation is necessary, it will consist of a diagnosis and an explanation of your treatment options. If root canal therapy is indicated, it may be completed at this time. In some cases, such as a retreatment root canal or an apicoectomy (root canal surgery), we will require an evaluation and a second appointment at which treatment will be provided. We will help you schedule the appropriate appointment to fit your circumstances.

We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you are in pain or have an emergency situation, we will make every attempt to see you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting time; however, due to the fact that our practice provides complicated services, various circumstances may lengthen the time needed for your procedure. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

To expedite the scheduling process:

  • All patients under the age of 18 years MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Have your referral slip available when you call to schedule.
  • If you have medical or dental insurance, have the necessary documentation available. Access to this information will allow us to verify benefits and estimate copayments in advance.

If you have been advised by your physician or dentist to use antibiotic pre-medication because of hip, knee, cardiac or other prosthesis, or if you have had infective endocarditis, please make sure you are on the appropriate antibiotic on the day of your appointment. If there is a question, please call our office prior to your appointment.
